Director / Tradesperson
Darren is the founder and managing director of DKG Painting & Decorating Pty. Ltd. and he has over 30 years of industry experience in project management and painting expertise. He has an extensive knowledge of business and excellent communication skills. Darren’s motto is “we always stand behind our work, with customer satisfaction being our number one priority.”
TAYLOR
Operations Supervisor
Taylor is the operations supervisor. After completing her apprenticeship in painting in 2016, Taylor moved into an admin role and has been building and learning new skills in the office to become operations manager. Quoting, invoicing, client liaising are all part of her job.
KRIS
Foreman / Painter / Tradesperson
Kris has been in the painting and construction industry for over 20 years and during this time he has developed great leadership skills and master painting skills. He specializes in spraying, and is our spray texture expert. He has a great work ethic and an even better eye for detail.
MICHAEL
Painter / Tradesperson
When referring to Mick, experienced is an understatement. He always presents high quality results and provides customer satisfaction. With Mick, you are guaranteed outstanding end products with his superb painting expertise. His speed is second to none without compromising on quality.
BROOKE
Apprentice
Brooke is our newest apprentice at DKG. In the few months she has been with us she has showed us she has great potential, and an awesome attitude. She is a great additional to the team and we are excited to support her through her apprenticeship.
HERR (JACK)
Painter / Tradesperson
Jack has been in the painting industry for over 8 years. He has an outstanding work ethic and is an extremely hard worker. Jack is experienced in all aspects of painting, and specialises in wallpapering. He is a pocket rocket on every job and always gets projects across the line within the deadline.
RON
Painter / Tradesperson
Ron has been a painter for over 40 years, and this is evident through his virtuoso painting skills. Ron has travelled the world, visiting locations such as the Solomon Islands to teach locals the skill and mastery of painting. Since returning from the Solomon Islands, Ron has been a major player in our team and continues everyday to deliver the best finishes we expect. Ron specialises in our commercial fit out works.
BROCK
Painter / Tradesperson
Brock has over 18 years of experience within the industry as a painter. His skills with a brush as well as his friendly demeanor allow for guaranteed customer satisfaction. He is our high end residential expert and is often requested by our clients due to his attention to detail and high quality work.

Craig has over 40 years of experience, specialising in residential painting and always presents with a smile, positive attitude, and great work ethic.
TE-ANAH
Apprentice
In May 2021 Te-Anah commenced her painting apprenticeship with us. Since then she has worked so hard to get through and learn all the apprenticeship has to offer. Te is always so happy and bubbly and everyone loves working with her and we can't wait for the near future where we can sign her off as a tradeswoman.
